The operation of the device is based on the bactericidal effect of ultraviolet radiation: ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 254 nm, which directly hits the surface, effectively destroys living forms of microorganisms. The simple-designed device automatically turns off the UV lamp when the drawer is opened, ensuring the safety of both the specialists performing the treatments and the clients.

It perfectly cleans the surfaces of accessories such as scissors, combs, brushes, pliers, tweezers and razor blades. To properly prepare instruments for sterilization, they must be washed and dried, and those with a more complex structure must be disassembled. Disinfection is effective when the rays directly hit the element. The entire process takes between 30 and 45 minutes.

What is UV disinfection? This is a disinfection method that uses far-ultraviolet light (wavelength 100 to 280 nm, especially 254 nm, i.e. UV-C) to kill or neutralize microorganisms by destroying nucleic acid and disrupting the DNA chain. Please note that this is an auxiliary method and does not replace autoclave sterilization; it works primarily with living microorganisms and does not affect spores.
