High frequency
Share
Today we want to talk about high frequency. If used correctly and to the maximum, it will restore freshness and vitality to our skin. Oxygenation is fantastic for any type of treatment.
High frequency is a treatment in which electrical impulses act on the skin, something that is used in physiotherapy treatments. It is a device that applies a low-intensity electrical current, but with greater power and frequency.

What will high frequency do for our skin?
Restore the pH balance and hydration. Because with cleansing we remove fats, unbalance the pH of the skin, remove barriers that protect it. We eliminate traces of makeup, environmental dirt and many excesses that suffocate the skin as well as the effects of daily use of masks that we all suffer today.
This is why it is so important that we ourselves and our clients carry out deep skin cleansings. And that after each cleansing we seal with a high frequency system.
When to apply this treatment system?
Well, always after any type of facial cleansing.
What are we going to achieve with high frequency?
Preventing the appearance of wrinkles
Brutal oxygenation of tissue. After cleansing, it will seal our skin, but also when extraction is performed, or the skin is manipulated and inflammation is generated or the skin becomes congested, it will help us to decongest this skin and give it a relaxed appearance.
Improves skin elasticity
Skin disinfection for acne. It is also very important to use it in cases of acne, when we have acne that has broken out, we have to work on that pimple. This specific breakout to neutralize the bacteria, so that the breakout does not continue to spread around the skin. And the skin does not continue to become infected. And it does not get worse. What we do is cauterize with high frequency, we eliminate the bacteria and the problem is over.

Preventing early baldness
Thanks to the action of the electrodes, high frequency activates and strengthens hair follicles and improves microcirculation. As a result, hair roots become stronger, hair begins to grow and becomes healthy and shiny, as it receives sufficient nutrition. In addition, high frequency is recommended for the treatment of diffuse alopecia, seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff.

Types of electrodes and their purpose
There are different types of electrodes and each one has a specific purpose.
The spoon one is perfect for working on the area under the chin, it will help restore texture to this entire area and decontaminate it from the toxins that form in the double chin.
You can use it around the eyes.
For example: we ask our client to hold the electrode and we apply hyaluronic acid or another product through an intense massage that helps us to re-densify some tissues, some marked wrinkles or when there are problems with dark circles or eye bags. We apply these active ingredients and work a good massage in these areas and in addition to enhancing the absorption of these nutrients that we are applying, we provoke oxygenation of the area. We are going to send many red blood cells to this area, red blood cells are the ones in charge of transporting oxygen in the blood, therefore we are going to send a lot of oxygen to this area.
The thin stick : For specific points, blackheads, acne, etc.
Mushroom electrode : It works on the entire area of the face, large areas, and can be worked on directly.
Comb-shaped electrode : used for the neck area and the entire head. It is fabulous for combating psoriasis and annoying dandruff.
Tube electrode : used to work indirectly
When is it used in body treatments?
For example, before applying an ampoule or before using a cosmetic active ingredient, when we want the active ingredient to penetrate deeply, we first use high frequency and also before any electro-aesthetic system. If we want to apply cavitation, if our objective is to apply radiofrequency, okay… we are going to provide a lot of oxygen to this area and the tissues are going to be much more receptive and conductive and we are going to offer a better result from the treatments. So it is fantastic and we are going to start using high frequency in our treatments today. And if you want to find out which of the high frequency equipment is the ideal one, follow us…
High Frequency Instructions for Use
The treatment is carried out in two ways.
With contact : In this case, the electrode is in contact with the skin. All movements are performed slowly and in a circular motion. It is recommended for flaccid skin and altered metabolism. The small discharges from the electrode improve your microcirculation and increase the overall tone of the skin.
Non-contact : In this case, the electrode is 5 cm away from the skin and does not touch it. It is recommended for removing acne, blackheads and old scars etc.
Use for hair : Before you start, you need to prepare the device and your hair. Degrease the electrode with alcohol and dry it. The hair must be clean and dry. Remove all metal hairpins from the combed hair and in a comfortable position take the device equipped with the comb-shaped electrode and slowly place it on your head. If you have long hair, the movements should start from the forehead to the back of the head, somewhat like combing your hair backwards. If you have short hair, comb it in the opposite direction, against the growth of the hair. During the first sessions, the device should be turned on at minimum power so that the scalp gradually adapts to the effect.
When treating or improving hair with high frequency, you can use oil-based cosmetic masks, high frequency greatly enhances the effect of the products used. After the session, massage the balm or oil into the scalp. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and rinse. The result will pleasantly surprise you.
The duration of the session is 5 to 10 minutes. To complete the treatment, at least 10 sessions are required.
Before performing the treatment, clean the surface of the electrode with alcohol and dry with a cloth.
Alcohol-based lotions and sprays containing alcohol should not be used under any circumstances!
Contraindications
Like any treatment, high frequency has contraindications:
- the presence of a pacemaker;
- individual intolerance to electric current;
- the presence of acute infectious diseases in the body;
- pregnancy;
- tuberculosis;
- the presence of tumors of various types.
